books are hard enough.
the software shouldn't be.
bookworm makes simple, affordable tools for the people who write, publish, sell and read books. it was built inside a real publishing house.
why we exist
Saptrishi Publication publishes textbooks, novels and literature in Punjabi, Hindi and English. its authors kept hitting the same wall: there was no simple, affordable way to write a book and hand over the manuscript.
so we built one, for them first. then we opened it to everyone. today 19,000+ authors write in Typewriter(opens in a new tab).
what we built
the tools follow the order a book actually gets made:
- write. Typewriter(opens in a new tab): write your book with an AI coauthor beside you.
- make. AuthorKit(opens in a new tab), idea to publish-ready book. plus Book Covers(opens in a new tab) and Audiobook Maker(opens in a new tab).
- print. BookPrinter(opens in a new tab), for real copies. yes, we own the press.
- sell. BookStand(opens in a new tab): open a bookstore, sell direct. Booktree(opens in a new tab): a link in bio made for books.
- read. Bookshelves(opens in a new tab): track what you read, share the shelf.
- run the house. PublisherKit(opens in a new tab), affordable software for publishers.
- give back. Library Card(opens in a new tab), for schools that can't afford a library.
start with the one you need. the next one will be there when you get to it.
oh, and the little yellow worm? that's our mascot. it's very into books.
